OUR HISTORY
FROM THE BEGINNING
We are a family owned company with over 70 years history, based in Hong Kong with specialized in the turf maintenance machinery and Arboricultural equipment.
We source well-known turf machinery, aeration equipment, chainsaw and arboriculture equipment from all over the world for over 50 years and provide our customers after sales services such as on site tutoring and maintenance for our products, which can rarely be done by other companies in Hong Kong due to limited knowledge in the industry.
Stated by the owner's grandfather
We originally started by the owner's grandfather, who operated a rice-mill in Po On, Shun Tak Province, China during the Second World War. Peddy rice seed was sold to different provinces in China after 1947.
Market in Hong Kong and Macau
Afterwards, the owner's father registered the company as a trading company in Hong Kong and diversified product line to vegetable seed, flower seed in small package to supermarket size with market in both Macau and Hong Kong.
In 1950, flower bulbs were first sold with a first order for 500 pieces of gladiolus bulbs, imported from Holland, which marked as a proper start up of business in Hong Kong in line with the peak economic period.
Imported massive cabbage seed from other countries
From 1958 to the 60's, massive cabbage seed was also imported from Dai-Ichi, Japan and FMC, the U.S. and sold to various provinces in China during the Chinese starvation period.
Since 1968, in view of strong demand from local farmers, the first hand power tiller (Hand Tractor) was imported from ISEKI, Japan as a starting point of the company's turf machinery business.
Growing business
Over the past 10 years, the most best selling product is brush cutter, which has been recorded for over 1,800 units up to the millennium year.
Different kinds of turf machinery with various models and implements to suits different environment and usage are still introducing to the market with a bigger market share.

Carry on his family business
Stephen Ng is the third generation of “Kar Wo”. He is passionate to make a better environment for Hong Kong, share his knowledge in forestry and best usage of arboriculture equipments, and carry on his family business.
Stephen holds British government recognized Diploma in Forestry & Arboriculture of UK and City & Guilds NPTC of UK, CS 30 Chainsaw Maintenance, CS 31 Small Tree Felling, CS 38 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue and CS 39 Use Chainsaw from a Rope and Harnesses. He lived in U.K. for almost a year to complete the Diploma and gained both academic and practical experience in the arboriculture industry.
